Organize the Vision
Vision to be Organized is owned an operated by Professional Organizer, Christie Gelsomino.
I started organizing in 2003 when I started my first business called Scrapbook Designer. I would organize photos for clients to have them ready for archival storage, photo album or scrapbooks. It was a part of the business that came naturally to me and that’s exactly what it was “a part of the business.”
I have always enjoyed putting “stuff” where it belongs, sorting through piles of “stuff” and containerizing “stuff.” Little did I know that such organizing could actually be a job? So, starting in 2005 my current scrapbook clients would get to a point with their photos that for us to move on, we would have to find more pictures. Well, to find more pictures that meant we needed to go into that room, closet or space that was “UNORGANIZED.” I would tell my client then that I could organize that space for them so that we would find the pictures and could keep going with their photo project. They were thrilled with that concept.
But what did I know about organizing? I knew a lot, done a lot already and was ready to pass on the organizing skills to my client. So I jumped in. And in 2006, Vision to be Organized was born as a sister company to Scrapbook Designer. I did my research and joined NAPO and NAPO-LA, started networking and passed out two business cards.
Now, my specialty is “Photos.” But to get the photos there is a whole house surrounding the photos. So I organize your everything. Basically, I am saying that I can organize your “stuff” from the house, to the closet, to the holiday gear, to the photos.
